Maryland Heart Associates LLC (MHA)  has some of the most experienced cardiologists in the Glen Burnie area, who have been in practice since 1978. The group was primarily organized by Dr. Susheel K Sharma, whose mission was to create a cardiology group consisting of well trained cardiologists who could provide a full range of services for patients with all types of cardiovascular problems.

MHA now has 5 cardiologists who specialize in all of the major disciplines of cardiology, including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology and noninvasive cardiology. This specialization allows the physicians to become experts within their specific fields.

When we add doctors, we look for physicians who love patient care, come from excellent training programs and are committed to a lifetime of continuing education and training.

We use the same philosophy in recruiting our employees as we do our physicians. Our nurses and medical assistants play an important role in patient care through coordinating care and providing patient and family education. Our employees take the time to develop relationships and know the emotional as well as the physical needs of our patients.
